Patsy Dunaway Whitehead, 85, died April 12, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday Sebrell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Whitehead was born on May 14, 1930 in Jayess, the daughter of the late, Wallace and Retha Dunaway. A retired business owner, she and her husband owned and operated the Southern Feed and Supply. She enjoyed camping, rock hunting, oil paining and spending time outdoors. Mrs. Whitehead was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
She preceded by her husband. Tullie Whitehead; and her son, Miles Whitehead.
Survivors include: son, Mitch Whitehead of Jackson; and nephew, Wally Boyd of Jackson.
