John Edward Wolz Jr., 72, of Jackson Street, Lonaconing went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing.
He was the son of John Edward Wolz Sr. and Delhia (Allen) Wolz, Cumberland, who preceded in him in death.
Also preceding him death was his sister, Mary Susan Wolz.

He attended church at the Trinity Assembly of God Church, Midlothian.
He was employed by the city of Cumberland for more than 30 years.
After retiring from the city, he enjoyed out-of-town shopping trips with his best friend and “love”, as he used to say, Carol. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He dearly loved attending sporting events that his grandchildren were involved in.
John always loved anything about football and was a diehard Fort Hill, WVU and Dallas Cowboys fan. John loved the Lord and family with all his heart. He also enjoyed spending time with his son-in-law, Jimmy, as his number one fishing side kick.

He leaves behind his wife Carol L. Wolz,; his children, Lynn (James) Wellings, Julie (Brian) Schrock and Andrew (Barbara) Cutter; grandchildren, Caitlin (Justin) Nichols, Corey Wellings, Jordan Schrock, Brian Schrock, Sydney Schrock, McKenna Wellings and Lily Cutter.

Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 6-9PM.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:00AM with Rev. Rob Culler officiating.
Interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Cumberland.

John’s family would like to express our sincere appreciation for the wonderful care he received from all the loving staff at Egle.
