David A. Goodman age 68, of Marion, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 in Marion General Hospital.

David was born Sept. 25, 1947 in Marion, Ind. to the late Willard and Ruthanna (Julian) Goodman. He married Janice Butcher and she preceded him in death on April 13, 2007.


He was a proud Army veteran and worked for Foster Forbes until his retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion post #10. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. He also loved watching game shows.


He is survived by sons, John (Anita) Carrico, Michael (Staci) Carrico, and Brent (Beth) Carrico, all of Marion, Indiana; daughters, Ann (Steve) Tisdale and Sheila (Rod) Mayo, both of Marion, Ind.; grandchildren, John Wesley (Kayla) Carrico, Shaun (Elizabeth) Carrico, Matthew Tisdale, Haylee (Arturo) Segovia, Cara Cline, Randy Mullenix, Danielle Mullenix, Amanda Carrico, Marlee Mayo, Jordan McGillem, Jude Carrico, Morgan Carrico, and Logan Carrico; 8 great-grandchildren; and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins from Greenville, Tenn.


Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Ind. with Pastor Bruce Koontz officiating.


Burial will immediately follow funeral services in Maple Grove Cemetery, Sweetser, Ind.
