Death of Washington County Pioneer
Mrs. Rachel Craven Oliver, the oldest resident in the county, died at her home near West Chester. She came to Iowa in 1839, and has lived in this county continuously for a period of seventy years. She was past 84 years of age. Her death was due to old age.
