She was raised and schooled in Pawnee graduating from Pawnee High School. Betty married Albert Junior Tatum on September 28, 1951 in Arkansas, Kansas the happy couple were married 52 years before Albert passed in 2003.
Betty lived all her life in Pawnee working as a waitress at Jaynes Cafe and as a seamstress for Munsingwear. Betty Jo was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew her.
Betty Joe leaves to cherish her memories, one son and one daughter; two sisters; one brother; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 52 years Albert Junior Tatum, five brothers and two sisters.
Services are Wednesday 2:00 P.M. April 13, 2016 in the Poteet Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Brien officiating, internment will follow in the Highland Cemetery Pawnee. Services were entrusted to the Poteet
