Funeral services for Mr. Carr will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at New Zion Baptist Church in Monticello, MS with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 pm, Tuesday, April 12, at New Zion and from 10 am until time of service on Wednesday.

Charles “Keith” Carr, Sr., 62, of Monticello, died April 9, 2016 in Brookhaven. He was born September 7, 1953. He was a logger and a member of New Zion Baptist Church in Monticello.

Mr. Carr was also a member of several associations including, Mason, past FFA State Officer, CERT, Shriner, MS Loggers Association, Simbrah/Simmetal Association, MS Cattlemen Association, Lawrence County Livestock Association, MS Citizen Corp Advisory Council, and Gideons International.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Carr and Charlene “Sug” Smith Carr and one grandson, Caleb Taylor Ronquille.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Karen Grayson Carr; son, Charles Keith Carr, Jr. and spouse, Hope; daughters, Ammie Carr, Julie Ronquille and spouse Blane, Mistie Carr, Kortney Magee and spouse Heath, Kimberly Dunaway and spouse Jacky, and Krystal Ladd and spouse Cody; 18 grandchildren, Mikayla McDaniel, Austin Messa, Trista Carr, James Carr, Sarah Ronquille, Dylon Dunaway, Abby Kate Magee, Logan Ronquille, Charlie Ann Carr, Hunter Magee, Kaylee Ronquille, Elizabeth Carr, Cooper Carr, Eden Messa, Olivia Stall, Callum Carr, Mary Miley Magee, and Hadley Ladd.

He is also survived by Jewel Cox; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
