Beverly June Fisher, 86, of LaGrange, died Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

June graduated from Kendallville High School in 1947 and worked for Wagner Insurance Agency in Kendallville for five years. After marrying Robert D. Fisher in 1950, they moved to LaGrange County. She helped with the farming operations for 65 years and was currently active in farm life. She loved to cook for her family and friends sharing her tips and tricks along the way. Her love and generosity overflowed to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. June was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kendallville.

Mrs. Fisher was born Aug. 16, 1929, in Allen Township, Noble County, to Otto Gerald Biddle and Martha Ann (Bowman) Biddle. On Oct. 3, 1950, she was married to Robert Dale Fisher of LaGrange. They were married 57 years.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Ida (Young) Fisher of Wolcottville, and a daughter and son-in-law, Marie (Fisher) and Dennis James of Oxford, New Jersey, five grandchildren, Kreg Fisher of Noblesville, Jeanne DeVinney of Fort Wayne, Spencer James of Indianapolis, Travis James of Budd Lake, New Jersey and Brian James of Fort Myers, Florida; seven great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Jaxson and Justen DeVinney; Caleb and Charleigh Fisher; and Tucker and Brady James. She is survived by three sisters, Deloris Houck, Doris Trowbridge, Sherry Holman, and one brother Robert Biddle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Martha Eileen Cobbs, and an infant brother, Gerald Leo Biddle.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, from 3-7 p.m. at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at East Springfield Cemetery in LaGrange.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Mongo Fire Department.

Arrangements are being handled by Weicht Funeral Home Angola.
