Fear was the daughter of Noah Thomas and Mary Alden. Her 2nd great grandparents were the Mayflower passengers John and Priscilla Mullins Alden. Fear died sometime after January 1778 as she signed for the final payment of his service in the revolution as he died in January of that year. Fear and Samuel also lost a son Noah Shaw in July of 1777 after he was killed in action in the same unit as his father. Fear is also the mother of:
