Daughter of Hugh Goldsworthy and Mabel Gray
She was born on July 12th 1908 in Fort Pierre South Dakota and named Ruby Goldsworthy. She would however be known as Audrey to family and friends throughout her life. She was a middle child having an older sister, Fern, and a younger brother Charlie.
On June 1st 1929, at the age of 20, she married Ernest Johnson in Wessington South Dakota. Ernest was a mason and Audrey worked as a telephone operator.
From this marriage, two children were born, they were blessed with a son and a daughter.
In 1934, they moved to Stockton California, Audrey soon started working as an admittance clerk in a local hospital and later she worked as a bookkeeper for a construction company.
Her husband Ernest died in 1958.
On Decembre 27th 1960 she married Benjamin Yaeger, they lived in Stockton and had been married 31 years when Benjamin died in 1991.
Audrey died on April 20th 1999 in Port Townsend, Washington and was brought back to California and laid to rest next to her first husband Ernest in Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery at the age of 80.
