William A. Bacorn, 77, of Cortland, Ohio went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. He was born on January 31, 1938 in Cleveland, WV, a son of the late Harley and Reva (Watson) Bacorn. William and the late Lolarene Kincaid united into marriage on February 5, 1956 and shared 59 wonderful years of marriage together.
He was employed as a Line Maintenance Technician at the National Can Corporation and retired after 29.5 years of dedicated service. William was a member of Warren Baptist Temple where he served as a long time deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. William enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.
William was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Velvia Bacorn, his wife, Lolarene (Kincaid) Bacorn, a daughter, Theresa Jane Bacorn, and a brother, Robert Bacorn.
Services will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Warren Baptist Temple, where Pastor Jim Dittmar will officiate. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Champion Township Cemetery, Champion,Oh.
