She was employed in the housekeeping department of Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield for the past 11 years. She was an avid gardener.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Strahl, whom she married June 22, 1998; son Kevin Dean of Fortville; daughter Kelly Dean of Greenfield; stepdaughters Amie Lovitt of Connersville and Stacy Troxel of Cumberland; sisters Wyllo Sanders, Judy Karnes and Debbie Harrison, all of Greenwood, Glenda Stockoff of Indianapolis, Patricia Combs of Philadelphia, and Wanda Kelley and Sandra Adkison, both of Greenfield; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jerry and Larry Graves.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home in Greenfield. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
