Julia Scott, a 25 year resident of Ramona, was born April 30, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, and died September 21, 2011.
When Julia was 18, she got on a bus from Ohio to California and took a plane to Hawaii to meet and marry her sweetheart, Leland T. Kinney. They were together for 21 years and had four children, Tony, Denise, Darryl and Stephanie. Julia's second marriage was to Benjamin E. Scott for 30 yrs.
She is survived by her brother and sister, John Chlebowski and Helen Gamber; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held September 28, 2011, at El Camino Memorial Park. Published in the Ramona Sentinel on Sept. 29, 2011.
