He was born Oct. 16, 1886, in Wyoming. He was a former Boise resident. His wife, Nellie, died in 1946. He was a former member of the Boise Lodge of IOOF.
Surviving is a grandson, Lyle W. Burton, Seattle. A son, Elvis Elmer Burton preceded him in death.
