A native of Gwinnett County, Mr. Adams lived in the Atlanta area most of his life. He was a DeKalb County employee.
Survivors include his wife, the former Gertrude Gresham; a step-son, John Forest Bruce, and two step-daughters, Miss Marie Bruce and Miss Suzie Knutzen, all of Lithonia; three brothers, Henry L. Adams, Atlanta, Irvin R. Adams, Decatur, and Jesse Adams, and two sisters, Mrs. Grover C. Dickens, and Mrs. Frank Buffington, all of Norcross.
