James Alan "Jim" Taylor, 66, of Belfair, Washington, passed away on June 23, 2015. Jim was born Sept. 3, 1948 to Mary Ellen Benthien and Col. John A. Taylor in Tacoma, Washington.

Jim taught at the North Mason School District for 42 years and was a teacher at North Mason High School's PACE Academy at the time of his death.

Jim is preceded in death by his brothers, Steven Taylor and Michael Taylor. His memory will live on with his wife, Christina Taylor; stepdaughters, Elizabeth Hatten and Melissa Rathbun; stepmother, Mary Jean Taylor; sister-in-law, Joyce Taylor; and other family members and friends.
