Funneral [sic] services were held for Walter J. Talbot, 84, a Marshall county resident for many years, who died August 16, 1953, at the Methodist church in Friona, Tex. Interment was in Friona beside his wife, the former Bessie Donald and daughter, Viola.
Death came at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elvira Killiany, El Cajon, Calif., where he had lived the past nine years. Born in DeKalb county, Ill., he lived at Friona, Texas, until 1920, when he moved to California.
Survivors are his sons, Everett Talbot, Friona, Victor Talbot, El Cajon; and daughters, Mrs. Lottie Vivian, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Ethel Brindamour, Lemon Grove, Calif.; and Mrs. Killiany; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two cousins, Mrs. Frank Scott, Marysville, and Mrs. Frank Losey, San Diego, Calif.
The daughters with husbands, son and wife and grandson, Dean Cox, motored to attend the funeral at Friona.
