Habeas Corpus Case In Ordinary's Court
Judge B. H. Thomas tried yesterday a habeas corpus case brought by Mrs. Susie Pittman to recover possession of her child, which is being held by the child's uncle, Tom Pittman.

It seems that Walter Pittman, (father of the child), requested that his brother bring up the child, and before he died had his wife sign a contract giving the child to the uncle.

The mother now comes into court and claims that she signed the agreement under a misunderstanding, and asks to have the child restored to her.
The court has the matter under advisement.
