Mrs. Annie LouElla Smith Bonner, native of Carroll County, Georgia, nearly all of the earlier half of her life, passed away December 1, at her home near Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

The daughter of John and LouElla Black Smith, she was born in May 1888 and was married in 1905 to Jasper Bonner, who survives.

Seven children were born to the couple; IG Smith of Tallapoosa is a brother of Mrs. Bonner, and Mrs. Lena Bonner of Lawrenceburg, TN; and Mrs. Cora Pruitt of Culman, Al are sisters.

Mrs. Bonner joined Shiloh Methodist Church of Burwell, GA in 1911 and transferred her membership to Bonnertown, TN in 1917. In 1952 she transferrred it to Mars Hill Bapt. Church at which the funeral services were held Dec 3, with the Rev. Wesley Holden Officiating. Interment was in the church's cemetery.

newspaper article in my grandmother's Bible (Lilla Muse Meeks) daughter of the late Nancy Smith Muse who died of typhoid fever 1909. Nancy predeceased her sister Annie LouElla Smith Bonner.
