Harold W. Cruser, 84, of Normal, passed away at 4:44 a.m. Saturday (April 2, 2016) at Heritage Health, Normal.

Harold was born April 19, 1931 in Sartell, Minnesota, a son of William E. and Mertie Jones Cruser. He married Carolyn Taylor on Feb. 18, 1954 in Chenoa.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Cruser; three sons, Jim (Mary) Cruser, Tom Cruser and Jack (Deb) Cruser; daughter in-law, Terri Cruser; brother, Lyle (Carol) Cruser; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Cali; a son, Mike; a stepgranddaughter, Jessica and 11 brothers and sisters.

Harold was a self-employed auto mechanic for many years in the Bloomington-Normal area. He was a founding member of Calvary Baptist Church in Normal.
