He is survived by: wife of sixty-two years, Betty Cowart Ethridge, Hoschton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law; sons and daughters-in-law; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; sister; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Ethridge was born February 16, 1923 in Ellenwood, GA. He was a U. S. Army veteran. He was a founding member of the Duluth American Legion Post No. 251. He was a retired line supervisor from General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville, GA with 29 and a 1/2 years of service and a member of the U. A. W. Local 10. He was of the Baptist Faith.
