He was also one of the original members of Tunkhannock Brass Band; member of Town Council and School Board for several years; Leader of Tunkhannock Cornet Band; a member of Tunkhannock Water Co. from its first organization and President at the time of his death. His occupation was Blacksmith for 50 years in Tunkhannock, Pa.
