Funeral services for Miss Tommie Mai Watkins will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the Athens Missionary Baptist Church with Eld. Kevin Harrison officiating and with Larry Garrett giving the eulogy. Interment will follow at the Watkins Family Cemetery. Visitation at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2–8 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 11 AM til service.

Miss Watkins, age 97 of Lebanon passed away Sunday April 3, 2016, at the Pavilion.

Born July 14, 1918, in the Centerville Community of Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Thomas K. and Annie Mai Ramsey Watkins. She retired from Lebanon Garment Company and was a member of Athens Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jennie Marie Watkins; and three brothers, Willie (Frances) Watkins, Roy (Helen) Watkins and T. K. Watkins.

She is survived by sister in law, Effie Watkins; nieces, Vera Ray and Sheila Perkins; nephews, Willie Watkins Jr., Ronald Watkins, Michael Watkins, and Bennie Watkins; and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews
