Son of Joseph Absolum Williamson and Thirsa Ann Martin, he married Lucinda A. Brown in about 1867 in Mississippi. They had three children: Joseph Randall Williamson b.@1868, William A. Williamson b.October 1870-d.aft. 1900, and C. Thomas Williamson b.October 11, 1874- d.July 18, 1915.
