Mrs Aust had been here since last September visiting her daughters, Mrs George C (Lucille) Woolsey and Mrs. Douglas (Charlotte) Bryson, both of Santa Barbara.
Mrs Aust was born in Minneapolis, Minn, Nov 18, 1888, attended the University of Minnesota, and was married in 1914 to Franz A Aust. In 1915 they moved to Madison, Wis. He died there in 1963.
She was a member of the University Methodist Church and Republican Women's Assn. there in addition to doing volunteer work for the Methodist Hospital and the Red Cross Blood Bank for many years.
Besides her daughters she is survived by a son, Alden F Aust of Omaha, Nebr; a sister, Mrs Bernice A Parke of La Jolla; and five grandchildren.
Interment will be in Minnespolis in the family plot at Hillside Cemetery. Methodist memorial services are scheduled for a later date in Madison.
