James Bowie Allison

Roscoe - James Bowie Allison, 78, of Roscoe, died at 12:05 p.m. Thursday in Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services are pending with McCoy Funeral Home.

Born March 15, 1900 in Round Timber, he was the retired manager of Roscoe Locker Plant and had lived here since 1945. He married Betty Brom on Dec. 18, 1925 in Seymour. He was a Methodist.

Mrs. Allison died in 1949.

Survivors include a daughter, Beth Hopkins of Roscoe; a son, John Allison of Merkel; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
