SPANGENBERG, Ada K. Age 93, of Hamilton, Ohio, died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. Born in London, Kentucky, on December 14, 1912, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Minerva Belle (Wyatt) Johnson. In Erlanger, Kentucky, on July 29, 1933, Ada married her husband of over 56 years, Donovan Mark Spangenberg, and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1990. She was a member of the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed gardening and flowers were her hobby. Ada is survived by her children, Melvin R. (Sharon) Spangenberg, Marvin R. (Faye) Spangenberg, Sharon Droke, and Jacqueline (Jerry) Bain; adopted son, Abraham (Eulin) Kuranga; grandchildren, Dianne (Randy) Northcutt, Michelle (Steven) Jones, Jeremy (Leslie), Timothy (Evelyn), and Ronald (Candy) Spangenberg, Gloria Johnston, Norma (Robert) Sechrist, Kathryn Montgomery, Mark (Susan), James (Robin), and David Droke, Linda (Noel) Chumbley, Cathy (James) Kell, and Mike (Denise) Bain; great-grandchildren, Leanne Northcutt, Steven A. and Natalie Jones, Kurt Johnston, Joshua and Jonah Watson, Jackie and Ashley Sechrist, Jacob, Teresa, and Timothy Spangenberg II, Jason and Sarah Montgomery, Justin, Jenna, James, Joseph, and Donovan E. Droke, Hayley Martin, Aaron Chumbley, Jeffrey Kell, Justin McEnenany, and Sarah Kelsch; great-great-grandchildren, Amira Jade VanHook, Danielle Gibson, Pam, John, Jamie and Larry; sister, Mary Lou (Louis) Miers; many nieces, nephews, and other family members. Ada was also preceded in death by a son, Norman Spangenberg; nephew, John Hooker; sisters, Hazel Hooker and Sally DeLaney; and a brother, Daniel Johnson. A funeral service will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton, at 10am on Friday, March 10, 2006, with Pastor Richard Rechichar officiating. Interment will follow at Millville Cemetery. Friends and family will be received on Thursday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions in Ada's memory to the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 3570 Hamilton-Middletown Pike, Hamilton, OH 45011.
