RECENT DEATHS.
Morrill.
Mrs. Ellen B. Morrill died June 1 at the New Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Concord, in her 79th year. Her husband, Rev. Stephen Morrill,
a native of Danville, died 33 years ago. His record of service included pastorates at Heniker, N. H., and Amherst, Mass. From June, 1862,
to the end of the war he was chaplain in the Union Army. Mrs. Morrill made her home here, on South
Park in 1883, though absent much of the time during recent years. Under the marks of suffering which the loss of her family had left upon her,
was ever a warmth of friendliness, a
Christian fortitude and a quiet humor that was much appreciated by those who knew her. The burial
was in the family enclosure at North Danville.
