OBITUARY
Eliza Ellen French was born April 2, 1843, near Columbus, Ind., and died Feb. 2, 1923, at Valley Center. She was married to James R. Yager in 1859. To this union were born six children only one of whom are living, Pryor Yager of Valley Center. Mr. Yager died in 1872. She was married to A. L. McCormick in 1877. To this union two children, one still living. Mrs. Lanmon of Pueblo, Colo. Mr. McCormick died in 1908. Mrs. McCormick was one of the organizers of the Valley Center Christian Church, coming by letter from a church in Illinois.
The funeral was held at the Christian Church Sunday afternoon, Feb 4, and burial made in Kechi cemetery, Rev. McLain officiating.
