Billy Gene Rice, age 67 of London, husband of Carolyn Rice, passed away on Friday, April 1, at St. Joseph Hospital in London.

Along with his loving wife, he leaves behind two children, Sheila Carol Rice and Billy Shane Rice and wife Ladonya “Britt”, all of London; two sisters, Carolyn Tompkins and husband Frank and Randa Race; two grandchildren, Addy and Emmie Rice, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Rice & Imogene Rice Carnes and one sister, Gail Childers.

Funeral services for Billy Gene Rice will be conducted on Sunday, April 3 at East Pittsburg Baptist Church with Rev. Denny McCowan officiating. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home. A special visitation will also be held beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at East Pittsburg Baptist Church, also on Sunday, April 3.
