Charles L. Allen, 69, 2130 South Avenue, a lifelong resident of Council Bluffs, died Monday evening at his home after several months of declining health.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Effie Allen; three sons, Milton, Donald and Alfred, all of Council Bluffs; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Woolhiser of Crescent and Mrs. Leona Jacoba of Council Bluffs; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Woodring's funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Walnut Hill.
