Shirley (Petzold) Kleibrink, 81, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed Sunday, March 27, 2016, in Watauga, Texas. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2016, at Foss Funeral Home. Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday; April 2, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Valley Mills with Dr. John Wheatley officiating. Interment will follow at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Shirley was born in Bosque County, Texas, to the late Theodore "Tado" G. and Rita Lillian (McNeill) Petzold. She was married to Bruce Kleibrink on July 8, 1955. Shirley loved and was loved by her family and her animals. She attended Valley Mills schools and was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce, on October 16, 1998; brother, Jim T. Petzold; sister, Melba Walsleben and loving husband of 43 years, Bruce, who has been waiting patiently since 1998.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan McGuire and her husband, Edwin, of Watauga, Texas, and Linda Quick and her husband, Bert, of Crowley, Texas; grandchildren; Chase Lakey and his wife, Karen, Cameron Lakey, Rachel Palmer and her husband, John, Jared McGuire, Alexis Borunda, and Blaze Borunda; great-grandsons: Ethan, Blake and Clayton; brother-in-law, Bruce Walsleben; and several nieces and nephews.
