MULLINVILLE – Edna Fern Brensing Fromme, 99, died Jan. 22, 2016. She was born May 20, 1916, in rural Mullinville, daughter of Henry George and Mary Georgia Miller Brensing.
A lifelong resident of Mullinville and Bucklin, Fern was a retired Home Economics teacher, farmer’s wife and active member of both communities. On May 20, 1945, she married Henry William Fromme, son of Edward Henry and Helen Campbell Fromme of rural Mullinville. They had three children, Edward, Mary, and Tamina. Survivors include: daughter, Tamina Fromme of Mullinville; three grandchildren and their spouses; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry; daughter, Mary; son, Edward; and four brothers, Arthur, Warren, Wayne and Eugene.
Visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at Mullinville Church of Christ. Burial held in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mullinville.
