A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens at Granite Pass. Burn's Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pitts was born May 12, 1914 in Allue, Okla., she married August L. Pitts, who survives. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing and caring for her family. Four years ago, she moved to Florence from Merlin, where she had lived 20 years.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons; Gary and Arnold Pitts; two daughters, Kathryn Pitts of Florence and Eileen Newman Dickerson; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
