Frank was the son of Joseph Domachowski and Frances Katulski. He emigrated to the United States on November 22, 1884 and settled with his family in St. Louis. A lifelong bachelor, Frank found work as a finisher in furniture assembly.

He was the beloved brother of Dora, Frances, Catherine, Agnes, Mamie, Theresa, Anthony, and John.
