Mrs. Josie M. McFeely, 81, of Augusta, Kan., formerly of Grand Island, died Sunday at Augusta. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Tim rust officiation. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-9 p.m. at Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home
Mrs. McFeely was born June 14, 1899, at Knoxville, Tenn., the daughter of Wythe and Cordelia Farmer King. She received her education and grew up in Tennessee. On Jan. 14, 1926, she married Roy A. McFeely at Knoxville, Tenn. They moved to the Grand Island area. Mr. McFeely was a foreman in the bridge and building department for the Union Pacific Railroad. He died in 1965. Mrs. McFeely moved to Augusta, Kan., in 1973 to be near her daughter. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was affiliated with the American Legion auxiliary and the Union Pacific Old Timers Club, both of Grand Island.
Survivors include a son, Richard L. of Grand Island; two daughters, Mrs. Polly Davison and Mrs. Peggy Lewis, both of Augusta, Kan., nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
