Marilyn R. Gschwender, 88 of Hamilton, passed away Easter Sunday, March 16,2016 at Hospice of Hamilton Ohio. She was born in Hamilton on June 12, 1927, the daughter of Andrew and Alice[Britt]Ruble. Marilyn was a 1945 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On June 12. 1948, she was united in marriage to Albert Gschwender and to this union three children were born. She enjoyed bingo and together with Al, spending winters in Florida.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer{John}Stringer; two sons, James[Patty]Gschwender and Jeffrey[Marie]Gschwender; grandchildren and great grandchildren; a special niece, Mary and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 58 years Al Gschwender; two sisters, Virginia Bekemeier and Arlene Ruble who died in infancy.
Friends and family are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Saint Julie Billiart Church. Burial in Saint Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Friday at the Colligan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Hamilton, Saint Julie Billiart Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
