Mary Jane Bogren Lockwood Joined our Heavenly Father Sept. 29th, 2006 after a short illness. Mary was born in Little Rock, AK, June 25, 1910. In 1913, her mother took her and the 5 youngest of her 12 brothers and sisters to Burley, ID. Mary's father and two brothers had loaded two flat rail cars 5 months earlier and had gone to southern Idaho where they homesteaded 160 acres. Mary's fondest memory of farm life was riding her beloved horse Hell n' Blazes to school everyday. She admits to often racing her horse against others though this was expressly forbidden by her parents. She was then married to Tom Lockwood for 59 years, adding Leon, Larry, Eldon and Marylynn to the clan.
