living with them were Bessie Young and Grover C Young, both age 25 with Bessie born in Indiana and Grover in Missouri.

DEATH OF CIVIL WAR VETERAN
John Taylor, aged 79 years, a veteran of the Civil war and a respected citizen of Jefferson township, died at his home at Birdseye Thursday night at about 12:00 o'clock. Mr. Taylor had been in poor health for some time, suffering from a complication of diseases due to the infirmities of old age. He is survived by a widow and several children.

Mr. Taylor was born and reared in Patoka township and was a brother of William H. Taylor, of near Taswell.
