AMERO, Adolph Owen - 80, Plympton, Digby Co., passed away July 11, 2005, in Digby Hospital. Born in Plympton, he was a son of the late Roy and Margaret (LeBlanc) Amero. He was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Plympton. He worked for the Department of Highways for 13 years and raised cattle for many years. He is survived by his wife, Olive; sons, Blaine (Patricia), Plympton; Joey (Denise), Concession, Digby Co.; Neil (Terry), Plympton; sisters, Lucy Johnson and Marie Scott, both of Plympton; brothers, Jonnie, Bennie and Fred, all of Plympton; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Andy; sisters, Laura Amero, Emma Amero, Viola MacIntire; brother, Roy Amero. Visitation was held on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. in Jayne's Funeral Home, Weymouth North. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. today in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Father Marek Pecak officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory can be made to a charity of choice.
