Evelyn Kay Davis, 71 beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord on Easter Sunday morning, March 27, 2016. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet. Kay graduated from R.L. Paschal High School and attended TCU and Arlington State College. She married her high school sweetheart, Paul Davis, in 1965. She was a loving mother to her pride and joy, Darren Davis. Kay was manager of Tanglewood and Cooper Travel Agencies. Kay was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Fort Worth Junior Woman's Club, Fort Worth Woman's Club, Beta Sigma Phi Perceptor Lambda Eta Sorority and member of many Ladies Moslah Shrine Units. A special thank-you to the nurses at Texas Health Hospital Southwest, fourth floor Telemetry, and to the nursing staff at Kindred at Home at River Park Plaza. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Vera Neal. Survivors: Loving husband of 51 years, Paul Davis; son, Darren Davis; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and grandchildren, sorority friends and Moslah Shrine family.
