Edward J. Beiser, 93, formerly of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Sunrise Assisted Living Center in Mission Viejo, California, following a short illness. Edward was born June 28, 1922 in Cleveland.

He served in France, England and Germany with the U.S. Army during World War II. Edward retired from Shelby Paper Box as a foreman after 33 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Mariann B. Keenan (Robert) of Mission Viejo, California; son, Gary J. Beiser (Judy) of North Olmsted; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife of seventy-one years, Edna C. Beiser (nee Seger); daughter, Linda L. Beiser; son, Steven (Joyce); his parents, Adolph and Mary (nee Brinza) Beiser; his sister Rose Cornell and a brother, Carl.

Burial will be private at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery in Cleveland.
