Elvira E. Hunt (nee Goettner), 88 years old of Antioch, IL passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Theresa’s Home Care, Gurnee, IL. She was born July 31, 1927 in Germany.
On March 4, 1946 she married Robert Hunt in Wilmot, WI and he preceded her in death January 2, 2002.
Survivors include her children, Deborah (Keith) Smiley of Antioch, IL and Chris (Lou) Tessmann of Wadsworth, IL; a sister, Helen (Harley) Wilkinson of Pleasant Prairie, WI; grandchildren, Stephanie (Mike) Schilz, Luke Tessmann, Matt Tessmann, Katie Smiley and Kevin Smiley; and one great-granddaughter, Olivia. In addition to her husband, Elvira was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Robert Hunt and a daughter, Elizabeth Hunt.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Theresa’s Home Care staff, Transitions Hospice, and to Pat Smith for their loving care.
