Phillip Greeley Peacock, 65, passed away on March 23, 2016 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He was born on February 8, 1951 in Houston, Texas to the late Jack and Violet (Roberts) Peacock.

Phillip was a member of the Tramway Community Church. There's so much to say, but so little room to say it. To simplify it, Phillip Greeley Peacock was a remarkable man.

He served his country during the Vietnam era, he was involved with Special Forces and nuclear development. Phillip was an avid outdoors man. He learned to ski in the Swiss Alps during his Military career.

He loved the mountains. Anytime you would get him out in the wilderness he would come alive he would always smile ear to ear when out in the woods.

He was a man capable of building nearly anything. He has built everything from competitive race engines to any home upgrade or renovation.

Most of all he was a great man of God. He was heavily involved in Kairos prison ministry. He left behind a genuine Christian legacy that is already strong in two generations. He led by not only his words, but his living example. Always a teacher not a teller.

Phillip was always positive, when diagnosed with brain tumors, he simply said "it's a win-win for me if I beat cancer I live on, if not I get to go be with the Lord." After almost a year of fighting, Philip was granted the ultimate victory.

Job 1:21: The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

Phillip is survived by his beloved wife, Patty Peacock of Moriarty, NM; sons and daughters in law, Randy and Jenna Peacock and Justin and Kayla Peacock of Edgewood, NM; brothers and sisters in law, Jack Jr. and Dolly Peacock, Nathan and Cheryl Peacock, Lindsey and Carol Peacock and Gary and Linda Peacock and 3 grandchildren, Ty Peacock, Violet Peacock and Colt Peacock.

A Funeral Service is scheduled for Tuesday March 29, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM with Pastor Chuck Kofahl to Officiate.

Burial will be at the Stanley Cemetery in Stanley, NM.

Pallbearers will be Randy Peacock, Justin Peacock, Jack Peacock, Nathan Peacock, Lindsey Peacock and Gary Peacock.
