Kay worked for several years as a bookkeeper at Jones & Jones Accounting and was a member of Norwood Methodist Church. She loved her cats and enjoyed going to Lakeland, Florida every winter with her husband Dale.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Dale E. Ferrell whom she married December 14, 1957, daughter Diane Wilson and son Jeff Ferrell (Melanie) both of Marietta, four grandchildren, a great granddaughter and sisters Margaret Heslop (Gale), Carol Cisler and Roberta Baker and son-in-law Tim Horsley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Horsley, and son-in-law Randy Wilson.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St. Visitation will be held Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery.
