The Henry Republican (Illinois) p6. 5/26/1892. A telegraph has been received bearing news of a sad mishap to Mrs. Betsey Bear at Quincy. A few days ago Mrs. Bear fell, bursting a blood vessel; blood poison has set in and her life has been despaired of. Mrs. Bear was here some months ago at the bedside of her aged mother Grandma Anderson (Sarah Brown Anderson), who had been injured by a fall, and is still living, but has not recovered enough to be able to leave her bed. Andrew and John Anderson, brothers of the unfortunate lady, start to Quincy tonight (Tuesday).
