Gladys (Forsyth) Greenwood was born 7 Jan 1901 in Concord, NH to parents Augustin Forsyth and Clara Keyes. She lived most of her life in Concord, NH until she married her husband, former Plymouth Police Chief Clarence O. Greenwood Sr. in Fabyan, NH on 15 Aug 1923. In Plymouth she was a member and past Secretary of the Plymouth Grange, and a member of St. Matthew's Church in Plymouth.

Her children were Clarence O. Greenwood Jr. "Pete", and Althea (Greenwood) Gray. Gladys had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She had contracted tuberculosis and had it treated with a thoracoplasty, and died years later of arteriosclerotic heart disease- congestive failure and acute influenza on 28 Jan 1975 in Plymouth, NH.

Gladys was a direct descendant of 6 Revolutionary War soldiers and patriots: Ebenezer Keyes, Amaziah Hildreth, Nehemiah Kelley, Joseph Dearborn, Peter Dearborn, and Jonathan Hall. If her Strong line of her ancestor Israel Strong can be elucidated further, there are likely more patriots in her lineage. If the Strong line in her tree can be proven, she may also be a Mayflower descendant through William Brewster, but this is not forthcoming at this time.
