born October 29, 1952 in Syracuse, KS to George R. and Janet L. (Wolfe) Crotinger.

Weskan, Kansas was the place of his family home and he graduated from Weskan High School in 1970. Bob enjoyed competitive sports in High School and always spoke highly of the Weskan public school system. Bob entered the U.S. Army in 1971 where he met Ava Brown, who later became his wife on February 17, 1974 in Colorado Springs, CO. Bob was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1975 and they moved to Manhattan, KS to attend Kansas State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture specializing in food science. After graduating from Kansas State, Bob worked at AMPI in Hillsboro, KS. He then took a job with Mid-America Dairymen and later became Plant Manager at the Cabool plant. Bob was promoted and worked in Springfield, MO and then later was promoted to Vice President of Canning Operations for Dairy Farmers of America in Kansas City, MO. He retired in 2010 from his position as Plant Manager for DairiConcepts in El Dorado Springs, MO. Bob took great pride in his work and helping his employees achieve company goals and productivity. He was a great leader and encourager.

Bob is survived by his wife Ava, a daughter, Tiffany Joy, and her husband David Kincaid, El Dorado Springs, MO; a son, Tristan, and his wife Jaimie Crotinger, Marshfield, MO; his mother, Janet L. Crotinger, Weskan, KS; two brothers, Scott and his wife Carolyn Crotinger, Carbondale, KS; Kerry and his wife Janell Crotinger, Topeka, KS; four sisters, Connie and Kirk Rice, Linda and Rob Loftin, both of Weskan, KS; Debra and Dan Steinike, Wilson, KS; Becky and Kort Hawks, Ellsworth, KS; ten grandchildren, Elyse Kincaid, Abigail Kincaid, Ian Kincaid, Faith Kincaid, and Ezra Kincaid; Jessica and Paul Johnson, Austin Crotinger, Christian Crotinger, Kyle Crotinger, and Kara Crotinger; one great-grandson, Kaiden Johnson and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Stanley Crotinger

The family suggest contributions be made to the CrossBridge Baptist Church, 302 S Clay St, Marshfield, Missouri 65706 in memory of Bob Crotinger.
