Mrs. Jack (Goldie) Johnson, 61, Naturita, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday at a local hospital after an illness of a month. Mrs. Johnson was born Goldie Smith, Feb. 14, 1896 at Stockton, MO, where she spent her childhood. She was married to John Johnson in Butte, MT on Aug 30, 1943. The pair went to Naturita in 1952. Surviving is her husband. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Norwood Community Church, with Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in charge. Burial will be in Norwood Cemetery.
She died at Mason Memorial Hospital in Grand Junction, CO.
