Louis Ludwig

Louis Ludwig, 85, of Waco, died Sunday Feb. 17, 2002, at his residence. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Robert Morgan officiating.

Mr. Ludwig was born in Hico on Feb. 12, 1917. He served in the Army during WWII where he was stationed in the South Pacific for 39 months. He retired from Schmidt Engraving Co.

He was a volunteer in the Veterans Hospital for many years. He was a lifetime member Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 2148 and lifetime member American Legion No. 121.

He was a member of the S.P.J.S.T. lodge No. 66 and the R.V.O.S. No. 109 in Elm Mott.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ludwig of Waco; daughter, Margaret Blanche Parma of Orlando, Fla.; son, Milburn A. Goodwin of Houston; two grandsons; one great-grandson; sisters, Edna Traugott of San Antonio and Elsie Brooks of Houston.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
