Mrs. Allison died on Monday, February 25th, at the Angel Community Hospital in Franklin, NC. She was a lifelong resident of Macon County, and retired from the Angel Community Hospital after 35 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Coleman Burch & Minnie Sophie (Buchanan) Allison, and three brothers, Otis, Wilford, & Claude Allison. Her brother, Coleman Scroop Allison who was born July 4, 1926, died on November 17, 2004. She is survived by sister-in-law, Della Mae Gregory of Franklin, NC and several nieces & nephews. Burial followed the funeral services that were held on Thursday, February 28, 2005 in the Chapel of the Moody Funeral Home, Sylva, NC, with Rev. Dennis Burrell officiating.
